End of summer?!

Hello hello.

I can hardly believe that summer's almost gone.  I think the one thing I've really appreciated about the summer is how long it's been light outside.  In July, the sun would not be completely down until 9:00 pm.  That did throw me off a little bit thinking things would be open longer (they weren't).  But it's been fun.  Nate and I are trying to get all of his school stuff squared away.  It's been pretty nice to be at a school where I don't have to worry about registration or anything.  Anyway.  We're excited for the new semester.

We've both been working really hard this past month or so.  Nathan started a new job.  He's sweeps parking lots at night.  It's been an interesting transition.  It finally seems as though we are on the same sleeping schedule because now he will sleep in til noon everyday.  Everyone knows I've been doing that myself for at least ten years!  I've been working a ton also.  I've been able to fill in at the dentist's office I worked at before school and I'm still working at Barnes and Noble.  I feel like when school starts I will finally be able to breathe again!  I think that's the opposite of how it's supposed to be.

My sister got married.  It was fun.  She looked wonderful!  I loved having my family out for the week prior to the blessed event.  I'll put pictures up later.  It's funny to me, not having siblings that got married before me to be on the other end.  Sure I've been to cousins and friends weddings but I was never really in charge of anything.  So it was kind of crazy.  I got a little stressed to say the least.  Luckily, I didn't work the end of that week so that was a little off my plate.  I was also surprised that although the festivities were primarily about Lindsay and Travis, I talked to both of them maybe an hour total that whole week.  When looking back at my wedding, I think I was just so aware of all the things I had to do that I felt like I was talking to everyone even though I probably wasn't.  Anyway, good experience all around.  I wish them the best of luck even though they don't read my blog.

Alright, I guess that's all for now.  I hope I haven't bored anyone too badly.  I feel like this was just a quick unloading of the recent events of my life.  Oh!  Before I forget!  I just finished an awesome book, The City of Bones, and it's sequel, City of Ashes.  Anyway, new favorite books.  I recommend them to everyone.  Also, Leave me some recommendations.  I prefer fiction, but a little non-fiction never hurt anyone!  Thanks!

Please congratulate Lindsay for me. That is super exciting! As for a book recommendation...I mostly read young adult fiction. I love Shannon Hale and recently finished the first Leven Thumps book. I'd recommend those. I'm glad you're well!
